Dr Arpan K Banerjee, Chair ISHRAD and Prof Dr Andrzej Urbanik, local organiser Rzeszów, invites the members of ISHRAD and of course all of you interested in the history of radiology, to participate in the 15th Symposium of ISHRAD.
This event takes place in Rzeszów, Poland Saturday 17 October 2026.
We hope that this meeting, unmissable for all those who are passionate about the history of radiology, will attract many current and new members of the ISHRAD to present and enjoy many well-researched presentations.
The 2026 theme is still “Pioneers in radiology worldwide”
Radiology in the early twentieth century (radiologists, physicists etc worldwide)
Doctors, physicists, engineers, etc. who developed and refined techniques and equipment in the beginning of the 20th century.
But presentations on other topics of the history of radiology are also welcome.
You have to submit a proposition of your topic, using the form below, and will then have one more month to send your abstract, with the final program being published by the end of June.
