Travel to Gothenburg

http://www.mynewsdesk.com/se/swedavia/images/flygbild-2-goeteborg-landvetter-airport-85686
Gothenburg has an airport nearby: Gothenburg-Landvetter
From there, you can choose whether to take a taxi or bus to the centre of Gothenburg or your hotel.
At the airport, you will find the bus stop for Vy flygbussarna Airport Coaches directly outside the check-in hall. The airport bus to Gothenburg City departs from stop location 1. It takes about 20 minutes to the centre.
Airport bus – Vy flygbussarna
It is also possible to travel by train to Gothenburg Central Station. It could take a little while longer…
Hotels
There are good hotels in all price ranges. Professor Geier has personal experience from Dorsia (quite interesting, and a good breakfast menu in the city centre) and Gothia Towers (modern and large, excellent location for a tram ride to the congress). He would suggest a location in the central area between the train station, the art museum, and the Liseberg amusement park to avoid spending too much time on travel.
Sightseeing
Wiki voyage: Göteborg is Sweden’s second largest city with 570,000 inhabitants, and about 1 million in the metropolitan area. The city lies on Sweden’s west coast, at the outlet of the Göta river. Gothenburg is Sweden’s largest industrial city with companies such as the Volvo Group and Volvo Cars, as well as Scandinavia’s largest port. The city hosts numerous national and international sporting and music events such as Gothia Cup, Partille Cup and Way out West. Gothenburg also has the Sweden’s largest amusement park, Liseberg.
